It is a body of benefical-educational character, to promote studies and investigations in Geophysics.<\/p>\n<p>Since 1994, the Foundation following the founder\u00b4s testament is giving prizes to graduates of diferent schools of geophysics.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0J. Garc\u00eda-Si\u00f1eriz Foundation, of benefical-educational character, is constituted on 15 of July of 1974 by the will of its founder<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundaciongarciasineriz.es\/en\/2012\/02\/02\/jose-garcia-sineriz-y-pardomoscoso-biografia-2\/\"> Jos\u00e9 Garc\u00eda-Si\u00f1eriz<\/a>. It is aimed to \u201cgrant one or more prizes to scientific works on pure or applied geophysics, done by engineers or doctors who have attended geophysical subjets to obtain their respective title.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0The Foundation \u201cis ruled, governed and administered by a patronage constituted by a President, a General Secretary and three Vowels.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2022\u00a0J.
