Terms and Conditions<\/h2>\n

First
<\/strong>A Prize of 9000 \u20ac will be granted to distinguish the best Geophysical Pure or Applied Doctoral Thesis made in Spanish or Ibero-American Universities.<\/p>\n

Second
<\/strong>Lawyers and Engineers whose Thesis has been defended during year 2011 will be able to concur.\u00a0<\/p>\n

All the candidates will present, along with the work, an accreditation of the Dean or Director of the Center in which it has been made.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Third
<\/strong>The deadline of presentation of the works will be the of June 29, 2012.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The request will be presented including the Application form available in the Web, as well as a leter addressed to the President of the Garc\u00eda-Si\u00f1eriz Foundation, with a complete copy of the work, a summary of it with an extension nonsuperior to five DIN-A4 pages and an electronic version of it (see rules<\/a>), as well as supporting certifications.<\/p>\n

Fourth<\/strong>
Prizes and help are indivisible and could be declared desert.<\/p>\n

Fifth
<\/strong>The prize will be granted by a court composed by: Examining jury of Prizes J. Garc\u00eda-Si\u00f1eriz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sixth<\/strong>
The criterion that will apply the Court will be the scientific or technical quality of the work. The decision will be taken by voting.<\/p>\n

Seventh<\/strong>
The challenge of the Jury, who will be unquestionable, will be released before the October 30, 2012.<\/p>\n

Eighth
<\/strong>All the applicants commit themselves to accept that the presented documentation may become a part of the J. Garc\u00eda-Si\u00f1eriz Foundation\u00b4s Library, where it could be consulted and be reproduced.<\/p>\n

Nineth<\/strong>
The works will be written in Spanish, English or Portuguese.<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Tenth
<\/strong>The works and documentation will be sent to the following direction:<\/span>
