Terms and Conditions\u00a0<\/h2>\n

First<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

A Prize of 9000 \u20ac will be granted to distinguish the best Geophysical Pure or Applied Doctoral Thesis made in Spanish or Ibero-American Universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Second<\/strong><\/p>\n

Graduates and Engineers whose Thesis have been defended during year 2014 will be considered eligible for the award.<\/p>\n

All the candidates will present, along with the work, an accreditation of the Dean or Director of the Center in which it has been made.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Third
<\/strong><\/p>\n

The deadline of presentation of the Thesis will be June 27th, 2014.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

They will be submitted including the Application form available in the Web, as well as a letter addressed to the President of the Garc\u00eda-Si\u00f1eriz Foundation, with a copy of the Thesis, a summary (less than five DIN-A4 pages) and an electronic copy\u00a0(<\/span>see rules<\/a>)<\/span>, as well as supporting certifications.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fourth<\/strong>
Prizes are indivisible and could remain unawarded.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fifth
<\/strong>The prize will be granted by a committee composed by: J. Garc\u00eda Si\u00f1eriz Award Committee<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sixth<\/strong>
The Committee criteria will be the scientific or technical quality of the Thesis.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Seventh<\/strong>
The resolution of the Committee, who will be unquestionable, will be released before October 30th, 2014.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Eighth<\/strong>\u00a0
All the applicants commit themselves to accept that the presented documentation may become a part of the J. Garc\u00eda-Si\u00f1eriz Foundation\u00b4s Library , where it could be consulted and be reproduced.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ninth<\/strong>\u00a0
The Thesis will be written in Spanish, English or Portuguese.<\/p>\n
